Product Description:
Vacuum filter is a commonly used solid-liquid separation device in the laboratory, mainly used for rapid filtration of solid particles or crystallized products, the filter funnel is used in conjunction with the filter extractor bottle (suction bottle) and the vacuum pump to accelerate the filtration process through negative pressure. The working principle is to place the material in the filter funnel (the bottom of the funnel is covered with filter paper or filter membrane of suitable pore size), turn on the vacuum pump, negative pressure is formed in the suction bottle, the liquid quickly passes through the filter paper and enters the bottle under the effect of difference in air pressure, and the solid particles are retained in the filter paper to form the filter cake.
